Their attitude towards one another warmed, their chemistry strong and their hobbies aligned, he found his interests in her deepening. As their couple of hours together passed, he found himself wanting to see her again.
He found out that while her passions were primarily gaming and cosplay, she enjoyed a little amateur photography to go alongside her cosplaying and, professionally, was a graphic designer with, she said, a decent portfolio.
Her smile was infectious and, while his experience with the fairer sex was limited almost entirely to Laura, her interest in him was written across her face and while he wasn't yet sure just what he had found in her, she had found someone around her age, with interests akin to hers who was sweet, cute and, above all, accepting of her uniqueness.
Men looked at her often, with a body like hers, without them knowing her secret, she expected it. More and more people were enjoying curves like hers, but she had never felt comfortable under their eyes, without knowing who and what she really was, their looks seemed lecherous.
But with Ash, like the rest of them he looked, and why wouldn't he, he found her attractive. But somehow it felt different, complimentary, he found her attractive and around him she almost felt it.
"So um... Can we meet again? Maybe I can come across to yours for a few drinks?" she asked, smiling hopefully.
It was his turn, for pretty much the first time since they had met to feel embarrassed, "Ah, I er, still live with my mom..."
She smiled, tucking a strand of loose hair behind one ear, "That's fine, we'll work something out, I'll text you?" she asked, moving to stand.
He followed her actions, standing with her and smiled, "Please do."
They spent an instant looking at each other, just a quick sweep of the eyes, her taking in the slender frame of his body, him the full curves of hers. They caught each other's gaze and smiled. It was hard to tell where things could go between them, but he found himself wanting to find out.
