Southern Hospitality Ch. 01

He returned home to find his mom looking somewhat sheepish, holding out a very familiar laptop in front of her. "Um.. Laura said she thinks she accidentally deleted a bunch of important photos while sorting them and wondered if you could save them? She sounded very worried.."
He stared at the laptop incredulously. He hadn't even been in the house for five minutes, he hadn't even gotten his shoes off. "...Fine." he said, taking the laptop, his voice conveying his annoyance and frustrations.
"..If you get them back maybe she'll give you another thank you kiss?" She teased a little, trying to brighten his spirits.
He let out a soft little sigh but smiled to her. "Heh, yeah, maybe." He tucked the laptop under one arm and kicked his shoes off, wandering upstairs. No messing around tonight. He'd see if he could recover them and get the laptop back to Laura within half an hour.
He set the laptop down on the still cleared space on his desk and opened it up, switching it on as he turned on his own PC, settling down in his chair and stretching his arms out above his head with a yawn, blinking a few times as he relaxed.
He watched as the laptop logged in, pleased to see his small array of security programs hum into life. His first port of call was 'My pictures' and to his surprise, it wasn't full of photos of herself as he half expected, maybe half hoped, in that pink gown of hers..
He shook his head. She had probably just deleted them. He closed the folder and glanced about the desktop, the recycling bin had the telltale sign of having items in it and he found himself rolling his eyes. Of course. Where else.
He opened the recycling bin and felt his heart skip a beat. It was full of photos of herself. Without any pink gown however. Or, he noted, any kind of clothing at all.
Heart pounding in his chest he selected all the files and hit restore, fumbling at the mousepad to take him back to the photos, opening the first one he came across.
She was laid back on presumably her bed, her makeup applied to perfection, her hair styled, an arm under breasts lifting and presenting them, to the camera which she held in the other hand, lips pursed.
