Mike gave each of us a beer then asked me if I had a deck of cards and I went to get them. When I returned they were already on their second beer. Mike then said I needed to get a bottle of vodka from my step dad's liquor cabinet. I tried to talk him out of it but he insisted and I finally gave in.

Mike told us about a drinking game they played when he was at a party over at his cousins. It was simple and sounded kind of boring. we all drew a card and the lowest card had to drink half a beer unless you drew a two then you had to guzzle a whole beer. if you got a joker, you had to drink a full beer and a shot of vodka.

I was jinxed from the start, I drew the lowest card in the first three hands. Mike said it was not fair, no one else was getting to drink. Luckily Gary drew the lowest in the next hand. Then Mike drew the low card.
