A Special Girl Part 2

The girls at nursery were always flashing their panties. All that bending and swooshing around and doing handstands seemed deliberately designed to show off their panties. After all, why wear such cute panties if no-one ever got to see them? But what Mummy had said to me there and then seemed to stick. I wanted to be a good girl, and if that’s what good girls did I would have to try my hardest to keep my panties hidden. That’s why I was so embarrassed that day on the steps. Oh yes, I knew you had seen my pink satin panties. The look in your face shouted that you did. I was mortified. I had always been so careful, but here you had caught me on one little slip. I was worried that you would then tell all the boys in school that you had seen my panties. All day I feared that I would get accosted by boys trying to flip my skirt up to verify that you were telling the truth. I was pleasantly surprised to make it through the day without a single incident. I was impressed. Maybe you were a gentleman after all. Oh, and secretly, I liked it that you had seen them.

Anyway, Mummy helped me on with my socks, making sure the fold with the lace band laid nice and evenly. She then led me over to the wardrobe and opened it. Again it had a few items in it. A couple of school summer dresses, a couple of skirts and tops and a few pairs of shoes at the bottom. Again there was a smattering of boy things thrown in as a test that barely even registered with me. Again with the instruction to pick out my outfit for the day I chose a pink and white checked school summer dress and a pair of black Mary Janes. Mummy helped me into them, tying up the ribbon behind my back for me and buckling up my shoes. Teaching me how to do it myself as she did, as I was to dress myself from now on. Though, she said, she would help me once, and only once, with each new garment I wore.
So there I stood, finally dressed like a good little schoolgirl all ready for her first day of school. Well, almost.
